Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing carpentry and painting works, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry works including installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures, furniture, doors, and fittings
• Carry out painting works including surface preparation, priming, and finishing (walls, ceilings, wood, and metal surfaces)
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and site regulations at all times
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members for task completion

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter and/or Painter
• Execute carpentry works including joinery, furniture installation, cabinets, doors, and fit-out elements
• Perform painting works for walls, ceilings, wood, and furniture finishes
• Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, polishing, and priming
• Carry out furniture painting, varnishing, staining, and polishing with high-quality finishes
• Ability to handle tools, machines, and materials safely
• Physically fit and able to work in various site conditions
• Basic understanding of safety standards
• GCC experience is an advantage
• Interpret drawings and specifications for fit-out project

Working Conditions

• Work may be performed at commercial buildings and occupied facilities
• Requires standing for long periods, lifting materials, and working at heights when necessary
• Exposure to dust, paint fumes, and noise
• May require flexible working hours, overtime, or shift work depending on project requirements
• Work under supervision and must comply with company and site safety regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR2,000.00 per month
