Carpenter Supervsor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage carpenters and carpentry crews on-site
• Plan, assign, and oversee daily carpentry tasks
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Ensure work meets quality standards and project requirements
• Monitor material usage and report shortages
• Enforce site safety rules and company policies
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades
• Train, guide, and evaluate carpenters and helpers
• Inspect completed work and resolve issues as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or Senior Carpenter
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plans
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations
• Physical ability to work on construction sites
• High school diploma or trade certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry experience
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience
• OSHA or safety certification
• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects
