Civil Lines Site Supervision

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise civil works related to underground cable installation and overhead transmission lines (OHL).
• Monitor activities such as excavation, trenching, backfilling, duct installation, cable laying, jointing bays, and route restoration.
• Oversee foundation works for transmission towers, including excavation, concreting, and backfilling.
• Ensure proper alignment, levels, and positioning of towers and cable routes as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate with electrical teams for cable pulling, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise stringing activities for OHL, including tower erection, conductor stringing, and sagging.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements, drawings, and project specifications.
• Monitor subcontractors, labor, and equipment at site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site logs, and documentation.
• Assist in quantity measurements, BOQ verification, and billing support.
• Identify and resolve site issues and report progress to project management.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission line projects (132 kV / 400 kV).
• UAE Driving License is mandatory
