Essential Functions:

Performs inspections for products manufactured by dental technicians; performs quality control inspections according to the quality standard procedures.

Evaluates each case thoroughly to ensure correct product per Rx specifications.

Serves as a liaison between dental technicians and managers.

Communicates with colleagues, dental technicians, and managers in a prompt articulate manner on a continuous basis.

Relies on extensive technical knowledge to make decisions and accomplish departmental goals.

Communicates with supervisors, quality control personnel, and technicians about work quality, quality standards, turnaround time, deadlines, and work flow.

Provides constructive feedback to all dental technicians in regards to quality of work produced.

Ensures high productivity and work quality by problem solving, motivating, and helping technicians.

Seeks advice and input from the manager when needed.

Understands all file trees.

Sends and receives files to and from specified labs as directed.

Trains technicians.
-
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Determines functionality of restoration type for each product.

Identifies possible defects and assist with all technicians’ inquiries and Contact Technical Advisors if needed.

Evaluates remake cases and identifies root of cause to communicate results to Manager and Supervisor.

Identifies and resolves undercut and draw issues.
-
Adjusts and re-evaluates bite and clearance issues.

Serves as back up for Quality Control Technicians and assesses Digital Order processors in forwarding cases to the correct division.
Education and Experience:
-
Prior dental experience or background a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum two (2) years of dental experience.
Special Requirements/Certification:

Must have Virtual Plaster Technician (VPT) Certification
Pay Range: $18.00/hr
