Job Title: Foster Care Case Manager Supervisor
Location: On-site, Wellspring Kentwood
Supervisory Service Area: Kent, Kalamazoo and Muskegon counties.
Reports to: Foster Care Program Manager - Kentwood

Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Foster Care Case Manager Supervisor to join our foster care team in Kentwood.
Responsibilities

• Lead the Case Management team and encourage an environment that promotes positive employee morale
• Coach, manage, develop and train the case management team, support staff and student interns while providing weekly supervision
• Ensure overall unit compliance with contracts, licensing, accreditation guidelines, agency policy, procedure and strategic plan, etc. Complete case reviews quarterly
• Input data per established guidelines into agency and contractor data collection systems
• Handle and coordinate the ongoing personnel issues of the unit; i.e., leave records, training records, participate in the recruitment, interview, reference, and orientation process for new hires
• Communicate employee performance expectations, conduct new hire six month evaluations and annual evaluations. Develop performance improvement plans where required.
• Coordinate the referral and intake process and make appropriate assignments to staff
• Monitor, read and approve all required reports, including incident reports
• Provide some direct service to clients depending on specific contract language or unit structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field and 3 years of child welfare experience (required)
• Reliable, responsible and committed to compassionate and high-quality work
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to support and guide staff in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

Schedule and Compensation

• Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• 
  Schedule: Monday - Friday
• 
  Salary Range: $51,000 + per year, based off experience, education and licensure
• On-Call: Supervisor rotation, every 4-5 weeks
• 
  Hybrid: Community travel to support staff - milage reimbursed
• On-site: Office based with a flexible schedule
