One of our VIP clients, a highly respected California law practice with nearly 40 years of legal excellence is hiring a Remote Case Manager with strong expertise in estate planning and probate administration.

Competence does.

You’ll work directly with the attorney and core team while independently managing a busy caseload in Clio. This is a fully remote position built for someone who has already proven they can deliver results without supervision.

What You’ll Own

This role is 75% estate planning & probate, 25% personal injury support.

Probate & Estate Planning (Primary Focus)

• Manage California probate cases from DE111 petition through final distribution
• Prepare and file DE111, DE121, DE147 and related court forms
• Handle bonds, publication, notices to government agencies
• Coordinate with heirs and beneficiaries
• Track hearings and deadlines via e-filing (One Legal)
• Manage trust administration matters, trustee accounting, and related procedures
• Run docket reviews and keep cases moving without delay

You must understand:

• California intestate succession
• Probate timelines and court procedures
• Trustee management and trust accounting basics

Personal Injury (Bonus Strength)

• Draft demand packages
• Assist with discovery (interrogatories, RFAs)
• Support settlement documentation
• Understand referral coordination processes

What We’re Looking For

✔ 2–3+ years of hands-on California probate & estate planning experience (required)
✔ Proven experience working remotely with strong results
✔ Preferred someone using Clio for docketing, form automation, and case management
✔ Skilled in e-filing and managing court deadlines
✔ Highly organized and proactive
✔ Able to manage 10–12 estate cases simultaneously
✔ Clear, professional communicator
✔ Spanish bilingual is a plus, not required
✔ Comfortable with Apple systems, DocuSign, Zoom, and legal tech tools
