Position Summary
The Personal Injury Case Manager is responsible for managing active personal injury cases after intake, with a primary focus on coordinating client medical treatment, maintaining case progress, and preparing demand packages. This role works closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to ensure all medical documentation and case materials are properly organized and ready for settlement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury files from post-intake through demand preparation
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding medical treatment and case progress
- Coordinate and monitor client medical treatment and follow up with healthcare providers
- Order, track, and review medical records and medical bills
- Ensure all treatment is documented and organized within the case file
- Prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages including medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding medical records, bills, and claim updates
- Identify and track liens, balances, and outstanding medical documentation
- Maintain organized digital case files and ensure case management systems are updated
- Assist attorneys with case evaluation and settlement preparation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in personal injury case management
- Experience handling medical records, billing, and settlement demand packages
- understanding of personal injury case flow and medical documentation
- Excellent organizational and client communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
- Experience summarizing medical treatment for demand packages
- Familiarity with medical terminology and billing review
- Experience coordinating with medical providers

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
