Case Manager - Personal Injury

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Case Manager to join our Pre-Litigation or Catastrophic Injury Department. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the pre-litigation process—coordinating care, facilitating communication, and ensuring each case progresses efficiently. This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Beverly Hills office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 75 clients
  • Handle property damage and loss of use claims with auto carriers
  • Open claims with insurance carriers, health insurers, Medi-Cal, and Medicare
  • Coordinate medical treatment based on provider recommendations
  • Schedule appointments and follow up on patient compliance
  • Review and summarize medical records, bills, and treatment plans
  • Maintain regular, compassionate communication with clients
  • Prepare case files and medical summaries for the demands team
  • Collaborate with attorneys to strategize case direction and resolution
  • Maintain organized records and timelines to ensure timely case progression

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Case Manager in a plaintiff-side personal injury law firm
  • Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes, Medi-Cal/Medicare, and provider networks
  • Ability to review medical records, surgical notes, and billing summaries
  • Highly organized and able to multitask across multiple cases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Required)
  • Experience in catastrophic injury or serious trauma cases is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
