Case Manager – Personal Injury Litigation (Full-Time, In-Office)

We are a busy and well-established plaintiff personal injury litigation firm in Santa Barbara seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our team.

This is a long-term, career-oriented role for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with attorneys, litigation staff, and clients to move cases forward from intake through litigation and resolution.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a caseload from intake through settlement
• Open and properly set up new client files and ensure all required steps are completed
• Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and clients
• Coordinate and track medical treatment, records, and billing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including medical summaries and documentation
• Track and follow up on liens (Medicare, Medi-Cal, etc.)
• Manage and organize subpoenaed records
• Draft demand packages and assemble supporting documentation
• Assist with discovery responses and client preparation
• Prepare cases for depositions, mediations, and other key litigation events
• Monitor deadlines and proactively move cases forward without prompting

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in a professional office environment (legal or medical preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and follow-through
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability
• Someone looking for a long-term position and career growth
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
