Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and assist with product demos when needed.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies and merchandising products as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, including phone etiquette when assisting via calls.

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or restuarant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours weekends.
• A friendly demeanor with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions.
