Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
  • Calculate the cost of products or services
  • Accept various payment methods (cash, card, etc.)
  • Calculate and return change when required
  • Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change when needed
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products or services
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
  • Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts at the end of shifts
  • Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Stay updated on promotions, advertisements, and product information
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to join immediately

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
