Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Calculate the cost of products or services
- Accept various payment methods (cash, card, etc.)
- Calculate and return change when required
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change when needed
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products or services
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts at the end of shifts
- Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stay updated on promotions, advertisements, and product information
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to join immediately
