Cashier

We're a small, family-owned business looking for a new member to join our growing team! We're looking for someone friendly with an upbeat personality that would help create a warm, welcoming environment for our customers the moment they walk in.

Cashier/Front-of-House Duties:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a smooth, efficient checkout experience.
• Take orders accurately in person and over the phone.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments.
• Package orders correctly and ensure accuracy before serving or handing off to delivery drivers as well as to customers doing dine-in or carryouts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining and cashier areas, including counters, tables, and beverage stations.
• Proactively check in with customers during their visit to ensure satisfaction
• Encourage customers to share their experience through reviews and feedback channels

General Duties:

• Work as part of a team to provide fast, efficient service.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift change procedures.
• Follow all health, safety, and restaurant policies.
• Help with basic prep and restocking duties, such as refilling dips, sauces, utensils, and other front-line items throughout the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred but not required (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Customer-first mindset with a positive attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Bonus: having a ServSafe Food Handler Certificate
