Al Dewan Pharmacy is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Al Ain. As the face of our pharmacy, you will play a vital role in providing excellent service and ensuring smooth daily transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Management: Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately using the POS system.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer basic inquiries, and ensure a positive checkout experience.
- Billing & Invoicing: Process prescriptions and retail sales, ensuring all prices and discounts are applied correctly.
- Cash Reconciliation: Manage the cash drawer, perform end-of-day reporting, and ensure there are no discrepancies.
- Store Support: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized checkout area and help with basic shelf stocking near the counter when needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in a retail or pharmacy environment.
- Mathematical Skills: Strong ability to handle numbers and manage cash flow with high accuracy.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) software and basic computer operations.
- Communication: Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a significant advantage.
- Professionalism: Punctual, honest, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Details
- Salary: Starting from AED 2,000 (dependent on experience).
- Location: Al Ain, UAE.
