Must be available on Saturday to work and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

This is a 40 hour a week permanent position. You will have two days off a week together and a fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product inquiries or demonstrations.
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Support inventory management through stocking, product demos, and assisting with store merchandising efforts.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in both English and bilingual settings is a plus.
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team collaboration.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to connect with customers over the phone or in person.
• Experience working in a garden center or retail environment is highly desirable.
