Description

To provide customer support at the front counter, with responsibilities that include handling cash, billing accounts receivable and assisting with special assessment duties. To Implement JCI standards.

Provide front counter customer service and cashier service to patients.
Receives the cash and issues a receipt and post cash receipts to accounting system. Input payments into the special Record.
Cash refund to insurance patients when any of the hospital formulary medications are not available.
Segregate types of prescriptions according to the terms of contract and send them on a daily base to business center.
Develops and co-ordinates the Quality Improvement Program within his/her area of responsibilities.
Maintains a clean working environment.
Serves as a role model and represents the department in a professional manner.
Adhere to the Dress and Appearance Code.
Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
Performs other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his competence as required by the title of the post as required.
Develops and co-ordinates the Quality Improvement Programwithin his/her area of responsibility.
Fully aware and actively implement the departmental policies and procedures, local and international accreditation standards or requirements related to the department.
Actively involves in indicator development, data collection for the department and to measure the performance of the function, process, and outcome. Whenever required, conducts analysis and interpretation of data/information collected.
Participate in hospital Safety Management & Risk Management Programs. Actively reports incidents in the system and whenever needed, participates in incident review, and root cause analysis.


Requirements

Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, to include cash management
Experience in health care setting.
Bachelor?s degree in Accountancy / Finance /Management / Commerce, or any related field.
