Cashier/Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and promoting our products. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor by organizing merchandise and restocking items as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products.
• Experience in supervising staff is advantageous but not required.
• A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
