Catalog Production Assistant

Based in beautiful Manchester, Vermont, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys blending organization with creativity. As part of our Advertising team, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes—preparing, organizing, and shaping the visual assets that define our iconic catalogs. From working in Adobe InDesign to supporting the full production process through print, your attention to detail will help ensure every page reflects the care and craftsmanship our customers have trusted for generations.


This position is full time. Candidates who are residents of VT are eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, working onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from our office in Manchester Center, Vermont, and at home Monday and Friday. All candidates must be within a commutable distance to, and available to work from, our office in Manchester Center.


What You Bring to the Team

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time while staying on track to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Acrobat Pro, and more
  • Positivity with a team-oriented and can-do attitude
  • Skill in using a wide range of media including photography and computer-aided design
  • A collaborative mindset working with leaders and clients to understand and interpret project requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare documents and files for design by collecting and organizing image assets
  • Building templates
  • Supporting the catalog production function for all aspects of advertising at The Vermont Country Store
  • A key component of this position is the preparation of approved files for printing
