About the role:


The Category Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth across our Kitchen Lifestyle product portfolio, supporting all sales divisions including Retail Showrooms, Project Supply, and Trade Export. Acting as the critical link between Category Management and Sales, this role is responsible for shaping the product offering and developing the technical tools, information, and support required to enable effective specification and successful sales outcomes. With deep technical expertise across kitchen appliances, sinks, taps, and BBQ products, the Category Development Manager will work collaboratively across internal teams, manufacturers, and contractors to deliver tailored solutions that meet both commercial and client needs. While the role does not involve direct selling, it partners closely with sales and specification teams to prepare product solutions, develop technical submittals, respond to complex technical queries, and support projects from early design stages through to installation and after-sales. Through building trusted relationships, delivering exceptional service, contributing to product development, leading training initiatives, and representing the category at regional and international trade events, the role ensures maximum value is achieved at every stage of the sales pipeline.


About you:


You are a technically strong and commercially aware professional with proven experience in the kitchen lifestyle sector, particularly across home appliances, sinks, taps, and BBQ products. You have a background in technical sales, category development, or business development, and are confident translating complex product capabilities into practical, value driven solutions for clients and sales teams. A strong communicator and relationship builder, you are comfortable working with architects, designers, developers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Highly organised and detail-focused, you thrive in collaborative environments, manage multiple priorities with ease, and bring a proactive, hands-on approach. With an international outlook and an appreciation of multicultural business environments, ideally with Middle East experience, you are motivated by supporting growth, developing people, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
