About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and execution-focused Category Executive with experience in the FMCG industry. This role will support category growth by managing assortments, pricing coordination, vendor interactions, and daily category operations to drive sales, availability, and margins.

Key Responsibilities

Support end-to-end category operations for assigned FMCG categories
Coordinate with FMCG brands, distributors, and vendors for product listings and onboarding
Manage product assortment, SKUs, pack sizes, and price updates
Track sales, stock availability, and fill rates to ensure high service levels
Work with Supply Chain and Operations teams to avoid stock-outs and overstocking
Assist in planning promotions, schemes, and offers with pricing and marketing teams
Monitor competitor assortment and pricing trends in the FMCG market
Prepare regular category performance reports including sales, margins, and inventory health

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in FMCG category management, sales operations, or trade marketing
Strong understanding of FMCG products, distribution, and pricing structures
Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to analyze basic sales and inventory data
Strong coordination and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
