As a Category Manager, you will oversee category revenue and profitability, set the vision and strategy, and manage customer insights and pricing. You'll collaborate with supply, demand, and marketing teams to ensure product availability and successful launches, while leveraging industry research to drive decision-making and growth.


What you'll do

  • Drive category revenue and profitability, managing end-to-end category performance.
  • Define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for the category.
  • Leverage customer insights to develop strategies that meet the expectations of diverse customer segments, engaging through various channels as necessary.
  • Manage pricing and promotions to encourage trials and foster customer retention.
  • Forecast and track category sales and KPIs, sharing performance insights with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with supply and demand teams to forecast volumes for new products and ensure consistent product availability.
  • Partner with marketing teams to support new product launches and ongoing promotional activities for the category.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive products, utilizing insights to shape category strategies.
  • Work closely with Sourcing, Procurement, QA, and Operations to address product issues, excess inventory, or shortages promptly.


What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in category management, or a related role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Expertise in customer insights, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, competitive analysis, and market research methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for sharing performance insights and strategies with stakeholders.
