About the Role

TalentHive is recruiting on behalf of a leading e-commerce trading platform in Dubai. We are seeking a Category Manager to own and drive growth within key product categories. This is a mid-level role , perfect for someone with strong category management skills and a passion for e-commerce, digital trading, and fast-growing sectors.

You will be responsible for developing category strategies, managing vendor relationships, optimizing pricing, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across assigned product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned categories (Electronics, Automotive, or Multi-Category).
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and brand partners.
• Develop and implement category growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, and margin optimization.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Monitor category performance (sales, margins, stock availability, ROI) and report regularly to management.
• Ensure a seamless customer journey by maintaining strong product listings, descriptions, and availability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, operations, and tech teams to enhance processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Category Management, within Electronics, Automotive, or Multi-Category .
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of e-commerce trends.
• Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships .
• Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in the UAE already
