Job Summary:

The marketplace business would ensure that sellers can sell on the Styli marketplace platform. The E-Commerce business would ensure that sellers can sell on six other platforms across GCC, by becoming a seller with Styli marketplace. We want to find ambitious selling partners, who align with our vision to scale across markets, and we are looking for a strong category manager to manage our marketplace.

The Category Manager will be responsible for managing the demand creation across multiple platforms, including our own and six others. This role will focus on trading, pricing, and collaborating with sellers to ensure a competitive and attractive product offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the marketplace, ensuring a diverse and competitive product selection.

• Collaborate with sellers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product availability.

• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to remain competitive.

• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

• Work closely with the planning team to support promotional activities and campaigns.

• Ensure excellent customer experience by maintaining high standards of product quality and availability.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

• Utilize customer insights and feedback to refine marketplace strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Experience in category management, preferably in the fashion e-commerce marketplace industry.

• Highly data driven with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Arabic speaker is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Understanding of ecommerce platforms and marketplace dynamics.
