QnQ Healthcare Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic Category Manager specializing in Medicine to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the pharmaceutical category’s growth and profitability, requiring a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape. The successful candidate will leverage analytical insights, negotiation expertise, and innovative approaches to develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement category strategies for medicines, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the pharmaceutical industry.

Supplier Management:

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and competitiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and optimize pricing, terms, and promotional activities to drive category profitability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
• Foster collaboration to achieve business targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring:

• Track and analyze category performance metrics, such as market share, revenue, and profitability.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Innovation and Trend Analysis:

• Capitalize on emerging trends and market opportunities to strengthen the company’s position.
• Identify new product opportunities to expand the category portfolio.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 5 to 10 years in category management within the pharmaceutical/medicine industry.

Skills:

• Strong analytical aptitude and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in developing and executing category strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, including generic medicine.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
