Job Title: Catering Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating catering services for events, functions, and special occasions. This role ensures seamless communication between clients, kitchen, and service teams, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coordination:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding catering requirements.
- Understand client needs, preferences, and budget to prepare customized proposals.
- Manage bookings, contracts, and client communication throughout the event cycle.
Event & Catering Operations:
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for menu planning, preparation, and execution.
- Ensure timely delivery, setup, and presentation of catering services.
- Supervise on-site catering operations to ensure smooth service.
- Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation standards.
Administrative & Logistics:
- Prepare event orders, checklists, and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, invoices, and payments.
- Coordinate staff schedules and assign duties for catering functions.
- Manage catering equipment, supplies, and transportation.
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health standards.
- Handle client feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for catering services.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in catering, banquets, or F&B coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and client service abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and event/catering software is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
