We are looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Supervisor to lead on-site operations and ensure the successful delivery of catering events. This role is responsible for supervising service teams, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth event execution from setup through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support catering staff during events and daily operations
- Coordinate event setup, service flow, and breakdown
- Ensure service standards, presentation, and guest experience are consistently met
- Act as the main point of contact for on-site client needs and requests
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback
- Monitor inventory, equipment, and supplies for events
- Enforce food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or banquet supervision (2+ years preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety certification or equivalent (if required)
