Catering Vending Attendant- Charleston Area

Position Summary:
The Catering & Vending Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while serving food and beverages in a fast-paced stadium environment. This role supports event operations by assisting with setup and breakdown, operating point-of-sale systems, and maintaining well-stocked service areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in high-energy settings.

*Pay for this position is $15/hour plus gratuity!*

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve Home Team BBQ food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner

• Operate cash register/POS system accurately, including handling cash and card transactions

• Assist with setup and breakdown of vending and catering stations before and after events

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, following health and safety standards

• Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout events to ensure continuous service

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors

• Adhere to all alcohol service guidelines and verify IDs as required

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally

Qualifications:

• ServSafe Certification required

• Previous food service, catering, or concessions experience preferred

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Work Environment:

• Outdoor and indoor stadium setting

• High-volume, fast-paced atmosphere during events

• May require extended periods of standing, walking, and carrying supplies
