CCTV Operator

Job Overview:
The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the surveillance system across Crumble's branches, ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, and assets. The operator will work closely with the security team to identify any security threats, track suspicious activity, and assist in responding to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems in real-time to detect any irregularities, suspicious behavior, or potential security threats.
• Operate and control security cameras, adjusting angles, zoom, and focus to capture critical areas.
• Record, maintain, and store video footage for review and investigation.
• Ensure continuous operation of the CCTV system, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
• Communicate effectively with security staff, management, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Provide accurate and timely reports of any security incidents or breaches.
• Assist in maintaining the security of restricted areas and ensure authorized access is monitored.
• Respond to alarms, alerts, or any security-related events, coordinating with relevant departments.
• Conduct periodic checks of CCTV equipment and maintain the surveillance systems in good working order.
• Ensure all recorded footage complies with company policy and legal regulations for data retention.
• Assist in conducting security drills and training for staff members.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security surveillance or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and quick decision-making skills.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and other surveillance technologies.
• Familiarity with security protocols and reporting systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
