- Operate and monitor all CCTV and surveillance systems within the Control Centre in an efficient and professional manner.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a CCTV Operator or similar security control room role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous private or commercial security experience is an advantage.
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to identify small or easily overlooked incidents.
- Ability to work independently, remain alert for long periods, and multitask effectively.
- Competent computer skills, including the use of CCTV systems and reporting software.
- Ensure full compliance with operating procedures, relevant legislation, and best practice guidelines.
- Accurately record all events, incidents, and actions taken in a clear, legible, and timely written format.
- Maintain a secure system for storing, accessing, and providing surveillance data in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the security of the control room, surveillance systems, and associated equipment at all times.
- Identify and report equipment faults or system failures promptly to Management.
- Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Liaise with management, security personnel, and relevant authorities when required.
