CCTV Technician

Key Responsibilities

Mount cameras, run and terminate cables, set up DVRs/NVRs, and configure system software.

Conduct routine checks, diagnose and fix technical issues, replace faulty parts, and perform preventative maintenance.

Resolve software (e.g., network, recording) and hardware (e.g., camera, wiring) problems.

Assess locations to determine ideal camera placement for maximum coverage.

Connect CCTV with other security systems like access control.

Train end-users on system operation and provide support for hardware/software issues.

Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Ensure all work meets safety standards and security protocols.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with computers, networking, and IP cameras.

Experience with security software (e.g., Genetec, exacq Vision).

Strong understanding of analog and digital systems.

Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Relevant certifications (e.g., SIRA) may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs42,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
