CCTV Technician

Qualification: DAE / B. Tech (Electrical / Electronics/IT/Computer Science)

Professional Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in CCTV systems, including cabling, power supplies, and network connections.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of surveillance systems.
• Configure IP cameras, network switches, and routers as required.
• Ensure proper camera positioning, focus, and coverage according to security requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including system layouts, configurations, and service reports.
• Respond to service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Upgrade and replace defective or outdated equipment as needed.
• To keep all kinds of records and information strictly confidential and avoid unnecessary conversation with other colleagues.
• To follow rules & regulations and comply with the instructions of your seniors to maintain discipline in Company.
• To perform other duties as entrusted by your HOD / In charge.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or certification in Electronics, IT, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of analog and IP-based CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with DVR/NVR configuration and video management software (VMS).
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, IP addressing).
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and perform fieldwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs42,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Intermediate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hand on experience on CCTV: 5 years (Required)
