Job Posting: Chef de Partie (Bakery & Pastry)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time role for a professional dedicated to maintaining high standards in bakery and pastry production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Excellence: Oversee the daily preparation and production of all bakery and pastry items, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Section Management: Manage the pastry station efficiently, including organizing prep lists and supervising junior staff (Commis/Demi-CDP).
  • Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to recipes and portion controls to minimize wastage while ensuring premium output.
  • Food Safety: Ensure the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety (HACCP) are followed at all times.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels for the pastry section and coordinate with the Head Chef for ordering supplies.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a CDP or strong Demi-CDP in a high-volume bakery, pastry shop, or hotel environment.
  • Skills: Expertise in bread making, viennoiserie, desserts, and cake decoration.
  • Location: Ability to work full-time in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.
  • Attributes: Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
