Our Seattle location is growing and we are strengthening our management team to support the growth! We are looking for an excellent, Director In Training, to prepare to lead the operations of Kiddie Academy Seattle, WA, at our high-quality early childhood education program. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into the Director role and manage a center. You will have access to excellent training and mentorship.

Position Overview:

You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director, Center Director or similar management role.

• Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining

• A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices

• Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
