Centre Head (P & L)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and mission-driven Hospital Unit Head to lead the overall operations, clinical coordination, and business outcomes of our hospital unit. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of P&L ownership , clinical administration , process efficiency , and strategic business growth within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business & P&L Management :

  • Full ownership of unit’s P&L, including topline and bottom-line performance
  • Develop and monitor annual business plans, revenue targets, cost budgets, and ROI measures
  • Implement cost control strategies, efficiency metrics, and drive continuous improvement

Clinical & Operational Oversight

  • Collaborate with Medical Services, Nursing, Diagnostics, and other departments for efficient clinical operations
  • Ensure optimal bed utilization, OT scheduling, and ALOS management
  • Drive process efficiency through lean methods and clinical excellence initiatives

Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Identify and drive business development initiatives – empanelments, referral partnerships, doctor onboarding, and external collaborations
  • Lead initiatives for service diversification and improved market share

Quality, Compliance & Patient Safety

  • Ensure adherence to NABH / other quality standards
  • Implement and monitor infection control, safety protocols, and audit compliance
  • Drive patient-centric culture and manage grievance redressal effectively

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage regularly with consultants, surgeons, referring doctors, corporate partners, and internal departments
  • Coordinate with corporate office for reporting, strategic alignment, and corporate governance

Revenue Cycle & Digitization

  • Oversee the billing process, claim submissions, and manage denials / leakages
  • Drive digitization initiatives, EMR implementation, and dashboarding for real-time visibility

Qualifications

Mandatory - Medical Graduation.

Preferred - MBBS From India

Mandatory - Post-Graduation in Hospital Administration

Preferred - MD Or MHA From a Reputed Institution
