Job Title: Centre Manager – Operations
Location: Mangalore, Karnataka.
Salary: ₹35-40k/month + Performance based incentive.

Job Overview

The Centre Manager – Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the coworking space, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, excellent member experience and efficient facility management. The role requires a blend of hospitality, operations, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

1. Centre Operations & Administration

  • Manage daily operations of the coworking space, ensuring seamless functioning of facilities and services.
  • Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff for high standards of cleanliness, safety, and upkeep.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, facility teams, and service providers for timely execution of tasks.

2. Member Experience & Client Relations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all members and resolve queries/issues promptly.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and renewals.
  • Organize community engagement activities, networking events, and client feedback sessions.

3. Business & Revenue Management

  • Support sales team in achieving occupancy targets by conducting walkthroughs, handling client queries, and assisting in closures.
  • Monitor billing, collections, and account reconciliation for clients.
  • Track and report centre performance metrics (occupancy, revenue, costs, member satisfaction).

4. People Management

  • Lead and motivate on-ground teams including front desk, operations executives, and support staff.
  • Schedule shifts, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular training to maintain high service standards.

5. Facility & Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of the centre.
  • Ensure availability of IT support, internet, utilities, and office supplies.
  • Manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling ability.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of facility management and operations.
  • Basic understanding of P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, preferably in coworking, hospitality, retail, or facility management.
