Certified Lead Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones and educational standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional skills, behavior management, and cognitive development among preschool-aged children.
  • Collaborate with families to support children's individual needs, including special education and early intervention strategies.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining a positive environment that encourages exploration and independence.
  • Utilize assessment tools and standardized testing to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure high-quality childcare and educational experiences.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of each child's development, behavior reports, and lesson outcomes in compliance with licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Lead Preschool Teacher with credentials in early childhood education or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience working with children in preschool settings, including classroom management and curriculum development.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and special education accommodations.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education strategies, and teaching physical education is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math concepts, standardized testing preparation, and tutoring when needed.
