Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)

Job Summary

A reputed hospital in Qatar is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, ensure comfort and safety, and contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment in line with hospital standards and Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning using safe handling techniques
  • Measure, monitor, and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
  • Support patients with feeding and monitor intake/output as directed
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and call bells
  • Assist nursing staff with basic clinical procedures and patient preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms, beds, and equipment
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
  • Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes
  • Transport patients within the hospital for tests and procedures
  • Provide emotional support and maintain patient dignity and confidentiality
  • Maintain accurate documentation as per hospital policies

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from a recognized institution
  • Valid Qatar MoPH license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory/preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage

Working Conditions

  • Rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Hospital-based environment (inpatient wards, ICU support, emergency units)
  • Requires prolonged standing, walking, and assisting with patient handling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR4,000.00 per month
