The Channel Development leader is responsible for managing and optimizing the sales channels - By leading the resource allocation plan through developing channels strategies, creating channel / customer plans and managing channel activities budget.
As a Channel Development leader, you will be responsible for creating and executing channel strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. You will work closely with cross functional teams such as field sales, customer marketing and strategic demand leadership functions to increase channel effectiveness and achieve the overall objectives.
Key responsibilities include creating annual channel / customers plans, negotiate key agreements, manage channel's budget and engage key customers around Mars strategies and key initiatives execution.
You will also be expected to develop joint business plans, set channel performance targets, monitor results, monitor and report competition activities to continuously improve plans.
The role requires excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead the resources allocation planning by developing and implementing channels strategies
Lead channel / Customer planning process
Accountable for the trade expenditures budget for his / her channels / customers
Engage with strategic customers by Collaborating with Field sales team to winning relationships and partnerships
Create joint business plans and set performance goals.
Monitor and analyze partner channel performance.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to align channel initiatives and execution.
Negotiate and manage key strategic agreements.
Identify key trends by channel, monitor competition activities and generate insights to incorporate in the planning process accordingly
