It is one of the most valuable players in the automotive aftermarket representing a portfolio of 25 world renowned brands such as Michelin, Castrol and Blue Star.Job PurposeThe job holder is responsible to achieve sales target of assigned channel by successfully managing sales team, is accountable to develop retain sales strategy, customer relationship management and achievement of targeted revenue within defined parameters.Job ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate and develop subordinates in order to achieve required levels of performance and competency. Build a high performance sales culture to deliver maximum sales and exceed budgetsIdentify developmental needs of team. Help them improve their knowledge, skills and performance through coaching and mentoring techniquesEvaluate performance of team objectively and provide necessary guidance for skill improvementEnsure achievement of the assigned target and business growth by successfully managing the sales teamManage marketing calendar for the year and exclusive promotions for different channelsFacilitate sales operation process to enable sales team productivity. Proactively identify bottlenecks of the sales process and find the way to resolve themDevelop an excellent relationship with customers, providing them with quality service to be their principal and reliable supplierContinuously expand customer base. Identify/process leads, validate them and acquire new customersMaintain up to date customer information as per company process and system requirementsPrepare channel sales strategy analyzing past trends and current market dynamics in order to improve market shareIdentify emerging segments/customers and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition statusPropose and obtain an approval on selling prices in consultation with Head of Sales/DGM/GM by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demandImplement strategic sales plan assigned, that expands company s customer base and ensure its strong presenceAnalyze sales trends and lead time to optimize InventoryPrepare (monthly, quarterly, annual) sales performance report, DSO status and realistic forecasts to the management teamEnsure compliance with ISO quality standard, and facilitate the conduct of quality internal & external auditsJob RequirementsQualificationsBachelor DegreeExperienceMinimum 8 years experience in selling FMCG product, out of which 3 years in supervisory roleExperience in Tyre or other automotive ancillary product may be added advantage Knowledge & SkillsProduct knowledge:- knowledgeable of aftermarket/ auto ancillary productCustomer and Personal Service:- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionSales and Marketing:- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systemsAdministration and Management:- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resourcesCritical Thinking:- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsCoaching and Developing Others:- identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skillsOrganizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work:- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish team workProblem Solving:- identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsAt Al Rostamani Group, we seek talented people who work hard to achieve great things.
