This Position reports to:

Regional Partner Business Director - MEA


In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain an effective sales channel strategy for a specified regional market to enhance ABB’s market penetration and support its growth objectives. Each day, you will plan and oversee the execution of the business area's/division's sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets within the assigned channel, focusing on orders, revenue, growth, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also demonstrate your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Channel Sales organization.

This role is reporting to the Regional Partner Business Director - MEA in Dubai.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and driving the regional channel sales strategy to improve ABB’s market penetration and growth

  • Conducting annual performance assessments and forecasting for partners

  • Achieving key targets (volume, prices, mix), reporting progress against plans and budgets, and analyzing channel activity to solve problems

  • Identifying, evaluating, and appointing channel partners per ABB standards (including digital and excitation), in collaboration with the Sales Director

  • Implementing ABB global Partner Program policies and standards (e.g., due diligence, segmentation, cybersecurity)

  • Building strategic partnerships and strong relationships with partners, customers, and decision-makers

  • Contributing independently to sales negotiations and frame agreements

  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to execute activities involving channel/segment partners

  • Ensuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities for channel partners

  • Implementing planned activities in the channel/segment to support engagement and performance

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in channel management and driving channel sales for Process Automation and Digital products is a must-have

  • At least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience of managing Channel Partners / System Integrators for Automation & Digital solutions

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of using CRM (preferably Salesforce) and other sales forecasting and reporting tools

  • You are passionate about sales and business development in new territories from grass root level

  • Engineering degree along with extensive process automation experience

  • Excellent communication skills with various levels in the organization internally and cross functionally
