Charge Capture Associate (Outpatient) (Contract)

Location: California 93405
Pay: $587 – $675/week
Schedule: Evening Shift, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
Hours: 5 x 8s (typically Monday–Friday; occasional weekends as needed)

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Accurately enter outpatient charges into billing systems

• Review and reconcile charge data, encounter forms, and reports for accuracy

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to obtain billable information

• Analyze and resolve charge discrepancies and system edits

• Support audits and revenue cycle processes to improve billing accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Healthcare charge entry or billing experience preferred

• Strong data entry, attention to detail, and analytical skills
