Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Chargeback Analyst to join our Loss Prevention team supporting the FlightHub division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing chargeback disputes, investigating claims, and collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and airlines to recover funds and resolve cases efficiently.
You will play a key role in protecting the business from financial loss while ensuring disputes are handled fairly, accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with data, and driving resolutions, we would love to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Process and dispute chargebacks and customer inquiries in order to recover funds.
- Investigate disputes by working with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and airlines to determine the root cause of each case.
- Prepare strong re-presentment documentation and supporting evidence for chargeback disputes.
- Review and resolve airline claims and Agency Debit Memos.
- Maintain accurate records and update chargeback cases with the correct dispute status and classification throughout the dispute cycle.
- Ensure cancellations, refunds, and payment clearances are completed according to company policies and approval guidelines.
- Monitor pending and awaiting cases to ensure SLA targets are met and recovery opportunities are not missed.
- Report on fraud-related, service-related, and system-related chargebacks.
- Maintain daily and weekly communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive timely case resolution.
- Analyze limited information to make sound decisions and recommend corrective actions.
What You Bring:
- Experience using Amadeus and/or Sabre.
- Experience working within the travel, airline, or online booking industry is considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with travel booking history, ticket cancellations, refunds, fare and tax calculations, and airline dispute processes.
- Previous experience in chargebacks, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, payments, or a related operational role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to make decisions and investigate complex cases with limited information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level is a must).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases at once in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research tools.
