Chargeback Senior Specialist

  • Manage the full chargeback lifecycle from initiation to final resolution
  • Investigate and analyze disputed transactions across issuer and acquirer perspectives
  • Process chargebacks in compliance with Visa and Mastercard rules and regulations
  • Review transaction data and supporting documents to build strong representment cases
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of chargeback responses
  • Collaborate with internal teams (fraud, operations, customer service) to resolve disputes efficiently
  • Identify trends, root causes, and potential fraud patterns
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting of chargeback activities
  • Communicate with customers or partners via email when required

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in chargeback management or dispute resolution
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end chargeback cycle
  • Hands-on experience with both issuer and acquirer chargeback processes
  • Solid knowledge of card network rules, particularly Visa and Mastercard regulations
  • Experience using chargeback or dispute management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Good written communication skills
