The CHaRM Warehouse Operations Manager will serve as a vital resource, advocate, and catalyst for Full Cycle recycling and community sustainability. The position will work to integrate sustainability into processes, standard operating procedures, and adopted business practices. The position will work to empower SSC and its community partners in actively engaging in recycling, composting and environmental stewardship.
The CHaRM Warehouse Operations Manager will provide organizational and functional support
for the implementation of the ARPA Solid Waste & Recycling Initiative, including
implementation of the Zero Waste Initiative:

Internally diverting materials away from the landfill.

Providing opportunities for residents to divert materials away from the landfill.

Coordinating opportunities for student engagement into various programs, events, etc.

Coordinating opportunities for staff engagement into various programs, events, etc.
-
Supporting local municipal governmental entities adopting sustainable practices.

Securing resources in support of the goals of the Zero Waste Initiative and other related sustainability practices.

Support a “circular economy”, “zero waste”, single-use plastics reduction campaigns, food diversion efforts, and other related practices.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly.

Standing, bending, climbing ladders, and operating equipment for extended periods.

STATUS/SALARY: This is a full-time support staff position for 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, $65,000 salary. The work hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
