Chartered Accountant

Thomsun Group is a diversified UAE-based conglomerate operating across trading, logistics, retail, education, and manufacturing sectors. The finance team handles multi-division accounting, reporting, and compliance across UAE operations.

Job Title
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant (role varies by level)

Key Responsibilities, Accounting & Reporting

• Manage full-cycle accounting (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets)
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Support audit queries and provide required documentation
• Maintain internal financial controls and policies

Financial Management

• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Variance analysis and financial performance tracking
• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights

Leadership (for senior/Chief CA roles)

• Supervise accounting team
• Mentor junior accountants
• Review financial operations across divisions

Requirements

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) OR CA Inter (role-dependent)
• 5+ years post-qualification experience (for senior roles)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and UAE corporate tax
• Experience in trading/logistics/multi-division groups preferred
• ERP system experience
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Strong analytical, accuracy, and deadline management skills
