About the Role
Moonlight Hospitality and Hotel Operation Management is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of hospitality experience and strong expertise in food preparation, station management, and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes consistently according to the hotel’s standards.
- Manage a specific kitchen section (hot, cold, pastry, or others) with minimal supervision.
- Assist in menu development, recipe testing, and food presentation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to maintain food safety and minimize waste.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Supervise and train Commis chefs and other junior staff.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety guidelines, and hotel policies.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef for daily operations and requirements.
- Assist in inventory management and requisitioning of supplies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in preparing various dishes.
- Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
