About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for Chef De Partie in the Kitchen Department to join Jumeirah Group.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Actively manage all aspects of the section and delegate tasks to junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of that kitchen section to the expected quality standards of the Chef de Cuisine.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
  • Assist Chef de Cuisine / Sous Chef in the development of new menu ideas to ensure all menus are seasonal and creative using the finest ingredients.
  • As Chef De Partie and section in charge responsible for refrigeration cleaning, stock rotation, date coding and section deep cleaning.
  • Inform and keep the Chef de Cuisine up to date on challenges and irregularities and recommend courses of action.
  • Manage service during busy periods and in the absence of senior chefs, ensuring all standards and quality procedures are adhered to.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications.

Essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality and consistency.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Adaptability, creativity, and passion for continuous learning and culinary innovation.
Desired
  • Preferred to be experienced in luxury hospitality.
  • Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded.
