1- Prepares cooks and presents all recipes contained in authorised recipe books.

2- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

3- Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)

4- Check food while cooking to stir or turn

5- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

6- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

7- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

8- Check quality of ingredients

9- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

10- Complies with and ensures food hygiene and checks chefs for personal hygiene

11- Cleans the kitchens and working areas

12- Ensures Fire / Safety Procedures are carried out

13- Fulfils his/her obligation under applicable regulations

14- To ensure that manual handling procedures and safe lifting techniques are adhered.

15- Reports on the quality and quantity of food supply

16- Ensures correct recovery and storage of leftover food for recycling

17- Assists in compiling a menu cycle

18- Assists with the accounting for all rations

19- To participate in any on job training as required

20- Use standardized recipes where possible

21- Executes all other tasks as requested by the manager or the client.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼2,000.00 - ﷼2,500.00 per month
