Chef De Partie – Pastry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and operate the pastry section efficiently
  • Prepare and produce pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and baked goods to set standards
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items
  • Supervise and train Commis Chefs within the pastry section
  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
  • Control stock levels, minimize wastage, and support cost control
  • Assist Head/Executive Pastry Chef with menu development and daily operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Pastry CDP or similar role
  • Culinary Diploma or Certificate in Pastry Arts preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation
  • Experience in professional kitchens (fine dining or café experience is an advantage)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
