Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior chefs with food preparation (mise en place)
  • Prepare basic dishes and ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
  • Monitor stock levels, rotate items (FIFO), and report shortages
  • Support kitchen operations during service in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety
  • Ability to work under pressure and stand for long hours
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and willingness to learn
