The Camp Boss is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the company camp, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for all residents. The role involves supervising camp staff, coordinating services, enforcing camp rules, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesCamp Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, catering, and maintenance services.
- Ensure camp facilities are clean, safe, and in good working condition at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of camp occupancy, rooms, assets, and inventory.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers (cleaning, pest control, waste management, etc.).
Staff Supervision
- Supervise camp staff such as cleaners, security, and maintenance personnel.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Monitor staff performance and report issues to management.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and local authority regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of camp facilities and report hazards or maintenance issues.
- Enforce camp rules, discipline, and code of conduct among residents.
- Handle emergencies, incidents, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Resident Welfare
- Act as the main point of contact for residents regarding accommodation-related issues.
- Resolve grievances and maintain discipline while ensuring a respectful living environment.
- Promote good hygiene, safety awareness, and harmonious living within the camp.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare regular reports on camp operations, incidents, maintenance, and occupancy.
- Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Operations departments regarding employee accommodation matters.
- Support audits and inspections by internal teams or external authorities.
